- Description
On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking a warm, professional, and engaging Live-In Nanny to care for their two young children: 2.5 years and 6 months. The family, currently relocating from London to Bahrain, speaks French at home, so French language skills would be a plus. Ideal nanny needs to be pet-friendly as family has a friendly miniature Labradoodle.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for both infants and toddlers, with a calm, nurturing, and developmentally-minded approach. The family is looking for someone proactive, flexible, and invested in creating a safe and stimulating environment that supports the children’s growth and happiness. The nanny will work closely with the parents (one of whom works from home) and collaborate with other household staff, including a housekeeper and a driver. Occasional travel with the family is expected, including extended stays in London for 2–3 months a year.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Provide high-quality, consistent care for both children, fostering their curiosity and happiness.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities to promote learning, physical activity, and social development.
- Support the children’s routines, including meals, naps, outdoor play, and educational activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with their developmental milestones and encourage their joyful nature.
- Engage with creative and educational activities that stimulate their curiosity.
- Maintain communication with parents, providing daily updates on the children’s activities and progress.
- Support linguistic exposure by incorporating French language into daily interactions if possible.
- Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with light household duties related to the children, such as laundry, organizing toys, and meal prep.
- Respect and adapt to the family’s multicultural and dynamic lifestyle.
- Occasionally accompany the family during travel and spend time with the children during family outings.
- Collaborate with a housekeeper and driver employed by the family.
