- Our private English clients are seeking an experienced and hands-on Live-in Domestic Couple for their newly renovated 7-bedroom villa in Cap d’Antibes. The principals are UK-based and use the property as a second residence, requiring a proactive couple to ensure the home is maintained to an exceptional standard year-round.The couple will work alongside a long-standing live-out Housekeeper and take full responsibility for the smooth running, presentation and upkeep of the property, as well as supporting during guest stays.Working days & hours: Salary based on a 45-hour working week per person. During periods when the clients are in residence, flexibility is essential, and longer hours will be required; any additional time worked will be given back as TOIL during quieter periods.Duties will include:o Full housekeeping, including cleaning, deep cleaning and laundry to a high standard
o Wardrobe care, ironing and linen management
o Preparing the villa ahead of owner and guest stays
o Table setting and light food preparation
o Driving duties for principals and guests (airport, errands, etc.)
o Vehicle care and maintenance coordination
o General maintenance and minor repairs
o Pool care and outdoor maintenance, including terraces and BBQ
o Liaising with contractors, suppliers and service providers
o Managing deliveries, shopping and household supplies
o Occasional care of a small dog
o Supporting occasional light tasks for the owners’ nearby motor yachtThe ideal couple will have previous experience working together in private households, be hands-on, organised and flexible, with a strong “can-do” attitude. Good English and working French are required, along with discretion and the ability to manage the property independently. A background as a Stewardess/ Steward would be highly beneficial for this role, as there may be opportunities to join the family as part of the yacht crew when required. Applicants must have the right to work in France.
