Temporary Nanny in Uzbekistan

A lovely family based in Uzbekistan is seeking a Live-in, Native English-speaking Nanny/Governess to care for their 7-year-old son. They also have a 3 years old daughter.

For the next month or so, the Nanny/Governess will only be looking for the 7 years old. The role will involve working alongside the child’s grandmother and supporting household routines while the younger child accompanies the parents on their trips until end of December.

The ideal Nanny/Governess will be proactive, passionate about education, and able to provide both academic and emotional support.

The family is warm, respectful, and values education and personal growth. This is a fully staffed household with a housekeeper and driver/bodyguard.

Working Hours/Schedule:

Monday’s off

Tuesday to Saturday 6 days per week

Tuesday to Friday:3:00PM – 10:00PM and Saturday/Sunday Full time

Key Responsibilities:

·       Care for 7 years old while parents are away

·       School run and supervision of after-school activities

·       Support with homework and academic development, particularly in Maths

·       Assist with simple cooking when needed and preparing meals for the child

·       Encourage structured routines, reading, creative activities, and learning

·       Keep children’s areas tidy and assist with light laundry

·       Work closely with the grandmother to ensure the 7-year-old is supported

·       Encourage good manners, independence, and confidence in both children

Requirements:

·       Native English speaker (essential)

·       Proven experience as a Governess, Tutor, or Nanny with a focus on education

·       Passion for child development and learning

·       Ability to support Key Stage 1–2 education

·       Bonus: Ability to speak a second language, musical talent, or creative skills

·       Proactive, warm, and hard-working personality

·       Must be comfortable living in a fully staffed household

Accommodation (Live-in): A private floor with an ensuite bedroom and living room is provided.

Salary:  $4k per month depending on experience& Food allowance provided

Start Date: ASAP for 2 months 

Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
