Live-in Nanny near Namur

On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a pet-friendly, nurturing, and flexible Live-in Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in the rural region of Namur, Belgium.

The household is surrounded by nature, with ponds and animals, providing a peaceful and active environment for the children.

The family is seeking a caring and responsible individual to look after their 1.5-year-old son, with a new-born born in August 2026. The ideal candidate will be experienced with toddlers and infants, genuinely enjoy being outdoors, and be happy to integrate into a relaxed and nature-focused family lifestyle.

The family has three dogs, so comfort around pets is essential. A driver’s license is mandatory, and a willingness to learn or speak French is a plus. A car will be provided for work purposes and will be available for personal use on demand.

Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (e.g. 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, 12pm–8pm, or 3pm–11pm depending on the family’s needs) with occasional weekend work on Saturday or Sunday with advance notice

Duties (but not limited to):

• Care for the 1.5 years old boy : play, feed, nap time, outdoor play (min. 30min in winter, longer in summer)
• Keep kitchen and children's areas tidy
• Prepare simple meals for the child
• Watch the baby (infant) for a few hours
• Grocery shopping and running errands when needed
• Occasional night shifts with the child (with compensatory time off or extra pay)
• School drop-off/pick-up starting May 2026
• House and pet sitting during family trips (or travelling with family will be an events
• Occasionally work as a team with their Housekeeper when needed, for example for family events

Accommodation: Private bedroom, bathroom, and small kitchenette within the Guest House, shared with the family housekeeper.

Salary : 45,600 euros gross per year  

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
