Head Housekeeper in Northamptonshire

We are looking for an experienced and active live-out housekeeper for our Private Clients in Northamptonshire. You will be maintaining a stately home to a high standard alongside a team of household staff.

We are looking for loyal candidates with a background in working for affluent families in a domestic sense in private estates, these candidates must be forward thinking and adaptable, and looking to be integral members of the large house team. You will be leading a team of three housekeepers

Duties:

• Organising the daily and weekly rota
• General cleaning duties
• Tidying wardrobes
• Making beds
• Dusting
• Vacuuming
• Bathroom cleaning
• Polishing 
• Deep cleaning one area of the private side of the house daily
• Laundry
• Moving/sorting storage
• Organising clothes
• Preparing any guest suites
• Maintaining the gym
• Maintaining the staff areas
• Conservation cleaning

Working hours/days: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

During events (or with house guests) overtime may be needed.

This is a busy and physical role. You should be organised and efficient to be able to get the work done in a timely manner.  You should also be flexible to change and able to adapt to last minute plans. 

Salary - £30,000-40,000 depending on experience

Live-in accommodation can also be provided for the probation period whilst looking for a nearby residence

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
