- We are looking for a full-time live-out Housekeeper for our private client in Englefield Green, Surrey
An experienced additional Housekeeper is sought, to work in a large, newly finished property. The family of four (including boy / girl twins aged 10) with 2 labradors, have recently moved into the home and are seeking a housekeeper to work with the current full time Housekeeper, to cover all aspects of cleaning, laundry, home organisation and general upkeep of the property. There is a full time House Manager who supervises maintenance contractors, orders household supplies and coordinates between the staff and the family.
The property is a full-time residence, and the family lead an informal lifestyle. However, they expect a good standard of care of the household and surroundings.
Personality, fit and character traits are extremely important in this role. The successful applicant will be a team player to work closely alongside the current Housekeeper and the House Manager, as well as the family. Working conscientiously and discretely with purpose, they must be trustworthy, have a practical nature and be comfortable multi-tasking.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Accustomed to dealing with bespoke surfaces and materials
- Comfortable to follow extensive cleaning protocols
- Able to tackle high volumes of laundry, from day to day family items to designer pieces
- Switched on and capable to stay sensitive to the needs of the family
- Professional in an informal setting
- Enjoys working in a small and supportive team
- Happy to be flexible taking on ad hoc tasks
- Comfortable walking and washing dogs
- Good understanding of a technological household
The must haves:
- Must be a driver due to the remote location.
- Physical fitness is a given.
