- Our private client is looking for an English-speaking Rota Governess/Nanny to work with their twins who are a year old and their 3 year old little girl.
This is a fully staffed house and therefore your duties will be for the children only.
A driver is not essential, with the family living in a fully staffed household. Holiday travel will be required.
There will be some travel which will usually be around Europe
The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care, working 24 hours per day, 14 or 15 consecutive days per month.
The family already has a nanny for the twins who works 15 days per month and also have a 3-year-old daughter who has her own nannies (there will be two nannies in the house at any one time; one for the twins and one for the eldest). Your role will be to look after all 3 children and ensure there is consistency with their education and care.
Nanny must be professional, flexible, discreet, proactive and caring with experience of looking after children of a similar age to encouraging the twins’ learning and development.
Duties
Typical nursery duties, preparing healthy snacks, managing the twin’s routine, tidying the children’s bedrooms/play room and organising age-appropriate activities, including both indoors and outdoors activities, such as swimming, singing nursery rhymes and taking the twins for walks. Good communication is essential, with the nanny keeping the family updated on the children’s development and any concerns.
Accommodationwill comprise a private bedroom and bathroom, although, depending on holiday houses, the nanny may occasionally have to share a bathroom.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
