On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking an experienced Live-in Governess to care for and support the development of a two-year-old child in Cairo, Egypt.The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, highly experienced and fluent in English, with a genuine passion for early years education and child development. The family has a fully staffed household, so the ability to work collaboratively and be a strong team player is essential.Schedule: 5 days per week, 12 hours per dayThe role will involve regular travel with the family across Europe and the Middle East, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling internationally.Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and organising age-appropriate educational activities and playdates
- Supporting the child’s early learning and overall development
- Monitoring and reporting on the child’s milestones and development to the parents
- Communicating with the child in English to support their language development
- Travelling with the family when required
- Working closely with the parents and wider household team to ensure a consistent approach to the child’s care and development
Start Date: ASAPSalary: €4,000–€6,000 net per month, depending on experience and qualificationsAccommodation: A separate house will be providedTravel to Work: Transportation between the accommodation and the family’s residence will be provided by the family.Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
