Live-out Chef/House Manager in Lucerne

A private family of two is relocating to a brand-new home in Lucerne and seeks a professional Chef/House Manager to oversee daily operations, cooking, and household coordination during the settling-in period and beyond. This is a varied and hands-on role combining culinary expertise with managerial duties.

Schedule: 5/6 days per week (flexibility required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing daily meals for two people (Mediterranean, French, and Asian cuisine)
• Grocery shopping and pantry management
• Coordinating with contractors and overseeing property-related tasks
• Managing household budgets and expenses
• Occasional table service
• Dog walking and general errands
• Supporting the couple with settling into their new home
• Liaising with external service providers as needed

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience cooking for private clients (high-end/private household experience essential)
• Strong culinary skills across multiple cuisines (Mediterranean, French, Asian)
• Experience with renovations or property handover coordination is a strong advantage
• Excellent organisational and budgeting skills
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently
• Valid driving licence
• Based in or within easy commuting distance of Lucerne
• Clean police record and checkable references
• Valid documentation allowing legal employment in Switzerland

Stat: ASAP

Salary: CHF 85,000 – 120,000 gross per annum (negotiable based on experience)
