On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Housekeeper to join a team working within a prestigious private residence in central Rome.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the care of antiques, crystal, silverware, specialist finishes and haute couture clothing.
This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional attention to detail and the highest standards of care throughout.
The family travel frequently, providing ample opportunity for holidays and lieu days.
Working hours and days:
Duties include:
- Working as part of a household team to maintain the residence to an exceptional standard
- Hands-on cleaning throughout the property
- Specialist care of antiques, paintings, crystal and silverware
- Caring for specialist surface finishes using correct products and techniques
- Laundry, including bed linen and household fabrics
- Garment care, including hand washing of delicate and haute couture clothing
- Ironing to an impeccable standard
- Carrying out any additional duties as reasonably requested
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience caring for antiques, crystal, silver and specialist finishes
- Have experience handling and caring for haute couture and delicate fabrics
- Be meticulous, discreet and professional at all times
- Be confident working as part of a team in a fully staffed household
- Have strong references from previous private household roles
Salary: €20 per hour gross
