Live-in or live-out Housekeeper/Cook in Switzerland

We are looking a reliable, professional, and positive Housekeeper/Cook for our private clients in Geneva. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised home, preparing family meals, and supporting the family with school runs and errands.
The position is permanent, live-in or live-out for local candidates, full-time

Schedule: 5 days per week (days/hours to be agreed – likely including school pickup window)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both domestic management and working with children in a warm, discreet family setting.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Kitchen Management

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the house (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, laundry, and ironing).
• Manage the kitchen – keep it clean, organised, and well-stocked.
• Ensure household supplies are maintained.

Cooking

• Prepare daily meals for the family (breakfast, lunch/dinner as required).
• Accommodate family preferences and dietary needs.
• Plan simple, nutritious menus.

Errands

• Run occasional errands, including grocery shopping.
• Other light household-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping/cooking experience in a private household or similar setting.
• Verifiable references from previous employers.
• Punctual, discreet, trustworthy, and proactive with a positive attitude.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (or ability to obtain).
• Italian speaker is a bonus
• Valid driving licence is a bonus

Salary: approx. 50 000 net CHF annual

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
