Temporary Nanny in Japan

On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a fun, energetic, and reliable Temporary Nanny-Companion for a 12-year-old girl during a family stay in Osaka, Japan. The father will be working during the day and is looking for a warm and enthusiastic individual to be a trusted companion and guide for his daughter throughout their time in the city.

The ideal candidate will be based in Japan, speak fluent Japanese, and ideally know Osaka well. We are looking for someone young, fun, and adventurous who will help the child explore the city, immerse herself in Japanese culture, and have a wonderful and memorable experience.

Days of work: 6 days per week, 1 day off

Hours: Approximately 9:00am – 6:00pm; the family will confirm the start time the day before, so flexibility is required

Dates: 21st – 29th June 2026

Accommodation: Provided – a private bedroom and bathroom in an AirBnB or hotel close to the family’s base.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as a fun and engaging companion to the 12-year-old girl throughout the day
• Planning a daily itinerary of activities, outings, and experiences around Osaka
• Accompanying the child to museums, amusement parks, cultural sites, and other activities by taxi and public transport
• Helping the child explore and become immersed in Japanese culture and language
• Engaging in activities the child enjoys, including dancing, singing, and acting
• Taking the child out for meals (meal costs covered by the family)
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the child at all times
• Carrying out any additional duties as reasonably requested by the principal

Salary: €250 gross per day. 

To start: 21st June 2026

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
