On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a polished, professional, and highly motivated Travelling Butler to support a discerning UHNWI.
Based primarily out of the UK with extensive international travel working collaboratively with a senior Butler and wider team
The role is globally mobile and fast-paced, demanding impeccable standards, a calm and adaptable manner, and an instinct for anticipating the principal's needs before they arise.
Fluency in English are essential for this role. All nationalities can be considered.
You must have previous experience in private service and any aviation experience would be of particular interest.
Working hours / schedule:
- Full time flexible in line with the principal's schedule
Duties include:
Travel & Logistics
- Travelling extensively with the principal and ensuring smooth transitions between locations
- Preparing residences ahead of the principal's arrival and managing packing and unpacking to exacting standards
- Coordinating with household teams across all locations
- Acting as a flight attendant aboard the principal's private jet when required
Wardrobe & Personal Care
- Managing the principal's wardrobe, including packing, garment care, and presentation
- Ensuring all personal items are well-maintained, organised, and readily accessible at all times
Household Coordination
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the household in close collaboration with the senior butler
- Liaising with chefs, housekeepers, security, and estate teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining high presentation standards across all residences and settings
Concierge & Lifestyle
- Researching and booking restaurants, clubs, and venues
- Personal shopping on behalf of and alongside the principal
- Managing personal appointments and reservations
Personal Service & Guest Care
- Delivering formal and informal service to the highest standard
- Assisting with hosting, guest relations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience
- Supporting dining service including table setting, food and beverage service, and clearing
- Providing support to the principal's wife's team and other family members as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5–10 years' professional experience including exposure to private service
- A background in luxury hospitality, private yachting, or premium airline service (First Class or private aviation)
- Impeccable personal presentation and a meticulous eye for detail
- A calm, discreet, and highly adaptable approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to think and plan ahead
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and genuine eagerness to learn from senior colleagues
- Fluency in English - additional languages are a strong advantage
