Live-in Housekeeper in Cap d’Antibes, South of France

Our private English clients are seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper to support their newly renovated 7-bedroom villa in Cap d’Antibes. The property is used as a second residence (mostly across the months of July and August) and the role involves working closely with a long-standing live-out Housekeeper.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining exceptional standards of housekeeping, laundry and guest readiness, with occasional light cooking and support during periods of occupancy.

Working days & hours: Salary based on a 45-hour working week. During periods when the clients are in residence, flexibility is essential, and longer hours will be required; any additional time worked will be given back as TOIL during quieter periods.

Duties will include:

o Full housekeeping of the villa to a high standard, including daily, deep and seasonal cleaning
o Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, including care of fine garments
o Managing linen, towels and household supplies
o Preparing the property ahead of owner and guest stays
o Table setting and light food preparation (e.g. salads, simple meal prep)
o Assisting with shopping, deliveries and household organisation
o Liaising with contractors and service providers as required
o Supporting the smooth running and presentation of the home at all times
o Occasional care of a small dog

The ideal candidate will be experienced in private households, highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive and flexible approach. Good English and working French are required, along with discretion and a professional manner. A background as a Stewardess would be highly beneficial for this role, as there may be opportunities to join the family as part of the yacht crew when required. Applicants must have the right to work in France. Candidates will ideally hold a valid drivers’ license.

Accommodation: Self-contained, newly renovated studio apartment on site with en-suite and kitchenette

Start date: To be confirmed

Salary: €2000 - €3000 NET per month (Depending on experience) 

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
