Temporary Housekeeper/ Domestic Helper in Switzerland

Our private clients are seeking a live-out Temporary Housekeeper/Domestic Helper to support their summer household in Ticino (approximately 25 minutes from Locarno, accessed via a mountain road) for the month of July 2026. The role will primarily involve assisting with light domestic duties during the family’s stay, ensuring the kitchen and living areas remain tidy and organised throughout the day.

Schedule: 6 days per week, daily presence required around lunchtime (approximately 12:00pm – 3:00pm) and again in the evening (approximately 6:30pm – 9:00/10:00pm).
One day off per week will be provided

Duties will include –

• Clearing dishes after meals and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organised
• Putting items away and maintaining general order in the home
• Assisting with light domestic tasks as required
• Supporting the household team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Any other light duties related to the upkeep of the property, Occasional turnover of guest cabins 

The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet and proactive, comfortable working within a private household environment and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times and being able to follow direction/ instruction. The property is located in a relatively isolated area; therefore, candidate’s must hold a valid driver’s licence, have their own car, and be a confident driver. Valid Swiss work permit required. Successful candidates will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA). Applicants should be English, Italian, French or German speakers.

Assignment dates: July 2026

Salary: CHF 4,500 - CHF 5,000 for the period (potential discretionary bonus) 

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
