Our private clients based in Marbella, Spain are seeking an experienced, warm, and reliable Live-out Nanny to support the care of their 6-year-old child. This is a long-term position suited to someone organised, proactive, and happy to work around a structured school routine while supporting the wider needs of the household.
Both parents work from home, so the ideal candidate will be confident working alongside them, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, positive environment for their child. The family is looking for someone flexible, energetic, and happy to travel with them when required. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both childcare and tutoring, with the ability to support the child’s academic development alongside their day-to-day care. You must be dependable and comfortable assisting with light admin tasks and simple family cooking when needed.
Working Hours
Term Time
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 07:00–10:00 and 16:30–18:30
- Friday: 07:00–10:00 and 15:30–18:30
- Saturday: 08:00–18:00
- Days off: Sunday and Monday (or two mid-week days if preferred — not Friday)
- Sunday half-day also desirable if the candidate is open to it
School Holidays
- Monday–Friday: 09:00–17:00 (hours may be shorter if the child is at camp)
- Weekends: days off, or paid overtime if mutually agreed
- Bank Holidays: 09:00–17:00 where possible (arranged and paid additionally)Supporting the child’s morning and after-school routines
Duties Include (but are not limited to)
- Supporting the child’s morning and after-school routines
- School preparation, breakfast support, and organising the child’s belongings
- School pick-ups and afternoon care
- Planning age-appropriate activities, play, and educational support
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the child and occasional family cooking
- Light admin support related to the child or household when required
- Maintaining tidy play and child-related areas
- Supporting bedtime routines on working days
- Travelling with the family when required
- Working harmoniously alongside parents who work from home
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
Start date: ASAP
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
