On behalf of our private client, we are seeking two warm, professional, and experienced Rota Nannies to care for a wonderful family based in Athens, Greece. The family has four children: aged 11, 9, 5, 1. The parents are loving and actively involved in their children's lives, and are looking for nannies who will work alongside them as trusted partners in care.
This is a shared-care role within a fully staffed household, and candidates must be comfortable working as part of a wider team of household professionals. Continuity of care and a long-term commitment are important to the family, as is a warm, bubbly personality combined with a proactive, common-sense approach.
The family travels regularly to the UK, the US, and other holiday destinations, so flexibility and a love of travel are essential. A driving licence is preferable. All working visas will be arranged by the family. The family have one dog so ideal candidate must be pet friendly.
Working hours / schedule:
- Rota: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, or 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (depending on nanny preference)
- 24-hour cover during working rota
- Return flights between the UK and Athens are covered by the family
Duties include:
- Managing the full daily routine for all four children, including the baby
- Planning and delivering engaging, age and stage-appropriate activities to support learning and development
- Supporting homework and encouraging independence and positive behaviour
- Children's laundry, wardrobe management, and bedroom/playroom organisation
- Packing and supporting travel logistics
- Cooking for the children
- Maintaining clear and open communication with parents and household staff
- Travelling with the family when required
Salary: £65-75k gross per year, dependent on experience
Start date: Flexible, with handover period
Accomodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided throughout working shifts
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
