- Description
On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced, caring, and professional English speaking Maternity Nurse to support a family based in Geneva. The baby is due in mid-March 2026, and the family is looking for someone to join them for an initial period of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility to adjust as needs evolve.
The household includes three cats, so the successful candidate must be pet-friendly. The family is looking for a calm, reassuring professional who can guide them confidently through the early stages of parenthood.
Working hours/schedule:
- 6 days per week
- 24-hour cover, particularly at the beginning
Duties include:
- Providing full newborn care, including feeding, settling, bathing, and sleep support
- Establishing and guiding routines suitable for a first-time baby
- Supporting parents with newborn care education and reassurance
- Night care and monitoring of the baby’s wellbeing
- Keeping the nursery clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Advising on feeding, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones
- Supporting the mother’s recovery post-birth
- Maintaining a calm, hygienic, and nurturing environment

Salary: from CHF 450 + per 24h depending on experience and qualifications
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
