On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations & service standards of a private estate near Florence.
Responsible for the seamless management of all daily operations, staff supervision (approximately 12), property maintenance, and service delivery for the family estate. To ensure the estate’s homes and grounds are cared for and managed to the highest standards of beauty, efficiency, cleanliness, hospitality, and discretion.
This position requires anticipating the principals’ needs, maintaining the utmost confidentiality, and upholding an atmosphere of refined, comfortable luxury.
You must combine strong leadership and administrative capabilities with a refined sense of service, extraordinary attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex logistics with both in-house and external suppliers.
The family of three split their time between this estate, and abroad and downtime is available when they are away.
Working hours/schedule: Full-time 5 days per week, flexibility required including occasional weekends and evenings.

Requirements:
- Unwavering professionalism and confidentiality in all matters.
- Deep understanding of service etiquette, guest relations, and event coordination.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams with multiple nationalities and mother tongue language skills.
- Willingness to adjust to changing schedules or needs.
- Strong project-management skills and ability to create efficient systems.
- Ability to manage suppliers with requisite expertise in smart-home systems, HVAC, mechanical operations, and security technology.
- Appreciation for fine design, furnishings, and grounds presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable interfacing with principals and vendors.
- Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages an advantage)
- Valid right to work In Italy or European passport
- Valid driving licence, familiarity with the Tuscan region preferred
Salary: €70-80k gross DOE
Accommodation: Live-in option available (private quarters on the estate)
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
