Live-out Nanny/Governess in Switzerland

On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and active Nanny/Governess to care for and support four children of preschool and school age in the Lucerne area. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and educationally minded, with a genuine passion for child development and a proactive approach to daily family life.

Schedule: The position is permanent, full-time, and live-out.

• Preferably Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
• Approximately 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Additional hours by mutual agreement
• Occasional overnight stays when the mother is away

Key Responsibilities

• Loving care, supervision, and support of the children
• Assistance with the children’s daily organization and routines
• Engaging in play and educational development activities, especially with the younger children
• Preparing or warming up children’s meals
• Driving children to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Providing overnight care when required

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in German or English
• University degree and solid professional experience in childcare (as a nanny or governess)
• Active, sporty, and well-presented personality
• Enjoys collaborating closely with parents on educational and daily matters
• Holds a Category B driver’s license; ideally has own car
• EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit (C or B permit)

Start Date: November 1st, 2025, or by agreement

Salary: CHF 6,000 – CHF 6,500 gross per month, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
