We are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy caretaker couple to manage and maintain a luxurious private residence in the stunning Alpine region of St. Moritz, Switzerland. This is a long-term position ideal for a couple who takes pride in their work and values building a stable, ongoing professional relationship.
The property is a large, high-end mountain villa featuring 5 spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 2 kitchens (main and staff/service), full wellness & spa facilities, separate guest house for visitors, ski/boot room and utility spaces. Private, secure, and beautifully maintained year-round mountain estate.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day upkeep, functionality, and presentation of this elegant retreat. The role is ideal for a couple with traditional complementary skills.
Working days: This is a full-time permanent position. Flexibility is required when the family is in residence at this holiday home. Time off in lieu can be taken when the family is absent. They typically stay for a few weeks in the summer, over Christmas-New Year, and for two weeks in February.
Main duties are but not limited to:
- Groundskeeping, gardening, and snow removal
- Technical upkeep (pool, heating, lighting systems)
- General maintenance and handyman work
- Overseeing tradespeople and suppliers
- Interior upkeep and cleaning of luxury finishes
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
- Grocery shopping and pantry organization
- Guest preparation and light cooking preferred
Accommodation: Live-in accommodation (if desired)
Salary: Competitive salary, based on experience – up to CHF 130K combined gross per year
Start: The couple could start at the latest by the beginning of December, ideally already in November to familiarise themselves with the residence from the outset.
Please note: a valid work /residence permit in Switzerland is mandatory and you must be fluent in English or German
