Live-out German Speaking Housekeeper/Cook in Zurich

Our private client is seeking an experienced full-time housekeeper/cook in Ginesta, Zurich. This is a wonderful opportunity to look after a private couple at their formal family home, sharing your experience and skill set.

The ideal candidate will be a German speaker, have formal private household experience, confident in delivering exceptional housekeeping skills.

Possessing an eye for detail, you will be quick and organised to ensure the highest possible standards are met.

As an experienced housekeeper/cook you will work to an exceptionally high standard in the kitchen, in charge of the planning, ordering, cooking healthy simple meals for the mature couple. Possess a good level of understanding in kitchen hygiene awareness, organized and friendly able to step into your duties without hesitation.

Working day(s): Monday - Friday

Working Hour(s): 10:00 – 18:00 (to be agreed)

Driver a must for this position due to the location.

Housekeeping duties required but not limited to:

• High standards of light and deep cleaning
• Making beds, changing linens etc
• Cleaning bathrooms, changing towels, cleaning mirrors, replenishing of items etc.
• Tidying and organising of rooms
• Laundry
• Ironing 
• Ad hoc requests

Cooking duties include (but are not limited to):

• Confident cooking healthy meals
• Ability to create weekly menus (if preferred)
• Online shopping and recipe sourcing 
• Able to source the best produce by liaising with the family management team
• Keeping stock control of the kitchen materials
• Load/unload dishwasher
• Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes
• Keeping cupboards, draws, fridges, freezers in good order at all times

Essential requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Confident in housekeeping and cooking duties
• Good communication skills
• Possess a professional positive can-do attitude
• Being friendly, loyal and trustworthy
• Happy and positive disposition
• Reliable and flexible to meet the couples needs
• A driver with a valid Swiss license (own car would be a bonus)

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: from CHF 45K (negotiable for the right candidate depending on skills set and experience) 

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
