Our private client based in Geneva are looking for a long-term, Live-in Housekeeper/Cook for their property.
The Live-in Housekeeper will start the role in Zurich (for a couple of months) and then relocate with them to Geneva in August.
The household consists of 2 adults, 2 children (10-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl) and 2 dachshunds. The house comprises 4 floors, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
The ideal Housekeeper/Cook will be well presented, flexible, well-organised, trustworthy with a cheery can-do attitude and have experience working in a large household, completing housekeeping tasks in a timely manner. The housekeeper must also be child and dog-friendly and speak English well.
Days & Hours of work: 8 hours a day, Mon – Fri
Duties include but are not limited to:
- All housekeeping duties
- Cleaning all the rooms to a high standard
- Ironing/Laundry
- Setting and clearing the table before and after meals
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Wardrobe management
- Polishing silverware
Accommodation: own bedroom, bath, and kitchenette
Salary: CHF 4,500 – 6,000 gross per month, depending on experience
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
