On behalf of our private clients in Lugano, we are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and discreet live‑in Housekeeper to join a household of two to four adults (with a home cook who travels alongside the family) in their four‑floor private residence, working alongside a couple of service personnel The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with proven experience in formal, high‑end settings. They must love animals and be comfortable with the presence of dogs in the home. Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish is strongly preferred.
Duties (but not limited to):
- Executing all aspects of household cleaning to the highest standards, with particular attention to areas affected by allergies
- Managing laundry and wardrobe care, with an emphasis on expertly ironing and handling fine garments
- Collaborating with the home cook and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assisting with pet care for the family’s dog
- Running household errands and supporting event or family‑member arrivals as needed
- Upholding discretion, confidentiality, and the family’s privacy at all times
Essential requirements:
· Proven experience in formal, high-end settings.
· Excellent knowledge of thorough cleaning techniques (no light dusting allowed due to allergies present in the home).
· Strong focus on ironing, with ability to handle delicate fabrics and fine clothing.
· Good ability to work as part of a team with other service personnel.
· Flexibility in days off and work schedules, including weekends or during busy periods.
· Love of animals: must like the presence of dogs in the home.
· Good physical energy and active spirit, as this is a dynamic and well-rounded role.
· Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish is strongly preferred.
Schedule: Monday to Saturday (exact days and hours to be agreed; flexibility is essential)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: €2,5k net per month
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years’ relevant domestic‑service experience in a luxury environment is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
