Live-in Chef in Switzerland & Finland

On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a professional, experienced, and adaptable Private Chef to join a private household based between Gstaad, Switzerland and Finland (April–September).

This is a live-in, full-time position suited for someone who enjoys creating fresh, healthy, and seasonal meals in a non-formal but high-standard environment.

The ideal Chef will be passionate about healthy cooking, gluten-free, vegetarian, and allergen-aware meals, have a positive, professional demeanour with flexibility and discretion, a team player able to work closely within a household team (Domestic couple, nanny) and around pets (2 large dogs), happy to work in a remote location, active and able to handle a dynamic household environment, possess excellent communication and solution-oriented mindset, a  uniform will not be required, but a neat and presentable appearance is expected.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family (2 adults, 1 child + 1 nanny), and occasionally extended family or guests
• Plan menus daily in consultation with the family
• Weekend meal prep in advance
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Manage stock, food shopping, online orders, and pantry inventory

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a private chef in private residences
• Confident in creating fresh, seasonal, and allergy-conscious meals (occasional baking and desserts)
• Strong organizational and kitchen management skills
• EU passport holder
• Driver's license required (car provided)
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative household

Benefits:

• Salary: from €72,000K gross per year, negotiable based on qualifications and experience
