On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a highly experienced, nurturing, and creative Nanny to care for their three children aged 6, 4, and 20 months.
The ideal Nanny will be proactive, gentle, and engaging individual who can provide holistic, child-led care in Los Angeles, with seasonal support in London.
The family values gentle parenting and a holistic approach and would love a nanny who can create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the children’s development.
The role requires occasional travel, both within the USA and internationally (to London during the summer), sometimes at short notice. A driver is essential.
Duties (but not limited to):
- Partnering with another nanny and working alongside very hands-on, supportive parents
- Planning and arranging age-appropriate, child-led activities. Planning outings and engaging the children’s imaginations.
- Supporting children’s learning and growth through positive, enriching experiences
- Child-focused role involving sole charge and collaboration with the household team.
- Working with one or two children at a time, occasionally caring for all three.
- Preparing healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning up afterward
- Driving children to activities and days out (car provided).
- Flexibility to stay overnight if needed.
- Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and secure environment.
- Traveling with Family approximately 4-6 times per year.
- Travel Preparation & Packing: Coordinating and organizing all travel-related arrangements for the children, including packing appropriate clothing, toys, educational materials, and essential items for each destination.
- Assisting with light housekeeping related to children (e.g., laundry, tidying / organising play areas).
- Keeping a structured yet flexible daily routine to balance activities and rest.
Schedule:
- Weekdays: Up to 60 hours per week (7:30 am to 7:30 pm, depending on the schedule)
- Summers: 2-3 months in London
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £70k gross per year + (flexible for right candidate)
Accommodation: Role is live-out, but accommodation support can be included in the package, depending on the candidate’s needs.
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
