- Our private client is searching for an experienced live-out full-time laundress.
Our client requires, someone with extensive experience with expensive couture clothing.
You will be highly skilled, no stranger to wardrobe managing and organising clothes to seasonal change(s).
The below list is not exhaustive but the role will include:
" Full charge of household laundry, and ironing clothes/linens/towels
" Knowledge of a wide range of textiles/fabrics and their specific care instructions
" Mending of clothes (tears, rips, buttons, hems etc.) and handling stain removal
" Familiarity with a variety of cleaners and detergents
" Organising household laundry, hanging and folding items into assigned closets
" Sorting and managing collection/delivery of clothing/linen/towels to dry cleaners - liaising with vendors directly
" Seasonal organisation of clothing and storing of clothing
" Assisting with packing and unpacking before and after travel (if asked to do so)
Essential:
" Very good spoken/written English is also a must
" Eye for detail
" Trust worthy
" Discreet
" Reliable
" Driver with valid clean licence
" Happy to travel
Working day(s)/Hour(s); to be confirmed
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 gross per year
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
