- Our private clients based in Geneva are looking for a French speaking Nanny to work, alongside the Nanny on duty, caring for 4 children aged 8 years old, 6 years old, 4 years old and a new born. The nanny would work 12 hours per day, Wednesday to Sunday each week, with timings flexible depending on the children’s activities.
The family will be primarily based in Switzerland however they travel extensively for both work and holiday and the Nanny on duty may be expected to accompany them to assist the Nanny on duty in caring for the children, for these trips.
The children are very happy and confident and enjoy doing activities which promote their varied interests. The eldest two children have school Monday to Friday. The toddler is an absolute delight as she is very calm, relaxed and happy. The baby is very happy and enjoys the entertainment that his older siblings provide.
The Nanny will work closely with the family, the other nannies who work on a rota basis and other household staff in the day to day organisation of the children’s schedules - this will include assisting the Nanny on duty to organise activities for all children, driving the children to and from school or activities, to support at mealtimes, nursery duties such as laundry and keeping the children’s areas clean and tidy as well as assisting with administrative tasks related to the children.
The Nanny needs to have a good level of English in order to work effectively alongside the team but when working with the children the family would like them to speak French. If the Nanny has experience of supporting older children with homework this would be advantageous.
A car driver is essential.
The family have a number of pets (a cat and dogs).
Salary depending on qualification and experience
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
