- Description
- Our private client is seeking a full-time Chauffeur in London. You will be an experienced chauffeur confident to drive the Principal to and from his residence(s) or hotel to the office, meeting locations and airports.
Ad hoc errands will be required including picking up dry cleaning, driving clients
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum five years driving experience driving a C-level Principal, ideally someone who has driven abroad and global knowledge
- Advanced and safe driving experience, Night driving
- Full/clean driving licence
- Highly professional and well presented (suit and tie requested; suit allowance available if needed)
- Fluent in English and well spoken
- Discreet individual
- Advanced knowledge of London, able to pre-map routes and check traffic updates regularly
- Knowledge or private airfields outside of London
- Willingness to recce routes in advance
- Non-smoker
- Calm and steady personality, unfazed by last minute changes to travel schedule and long working hours (until late i.e. 3am if Principal attends events)
- Reliable and responsible, very important
- Willingness to be flexible - Principal travels regularly, often three to four times a week and sometimes on 12 hours notice will be given to let chauffeur know he will be in London
- Expenses covered include professional dress once a year if required, lunch and dinner while working, mobile phone
- A car will be provided, Audi A8
Starting: ASAP
Working Day(s): From 1-3 days a week depending on Principal's travel schedule. Chauffeur must be available on an ad hoc basis
Salary: £40,000 + (depending on experience) plus pension, Bupa health insurance and discretionary bonus.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
