- One of our private client’s based between Hampshire and Notting Hill are looking for a Maternity Nurse for a Baby due April 2020 to join their fully staffed household.
The family are looking for an experienced, patient, calm Maternity Nurse to assist second time parents. The Maternity Nurse will be responsible for supporting with establishing routines for feeding and sleeping, advise and assist with breastfeeding/bottle feeding, and all aspects of new-born care and developmental needs.
Duration of role/Day’s & Hours
The role will start in April 2020 for 12 weeks
The working hours would be 24 hours per day, 5 or 6 days per week.
The family have a 20-month-old boy, who will be 2 and a ¼ when the baby arrives and who is cared for by a sole charge Nanny.
Duties
Hampshire
- The Maternity Nurse will be required to carry out all normal nursery duties.
- When on duty the Maternity Nurse will be sharing a room with the baby and separate room with a bathroom will be provided for when off duty.
- The Maternity Nurse would need to be happy spending time outside London, so be someone who enjoys the countryside and does not mind the occasional company of dogs (who remain downstairs and at a good distance to the nursery).
- The Maternity Nurse will be required to carry out all normal nursery duties.
- When on duty the Maternity Nurse will be sharing a room with the baby and would share the toddler's bathroom.
The interview will take place in London, but the family envisage that the role would be split approximately 80 / 20 percent between homes in Hampshire and London. Due to the rural location in Hampshire a car driver is highly preferable (if not mandatory).
Salary: £215-£310 per 24 hours depending on experience
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
