- Description
- We have a client looking for a Resident Estate/Property Manager for their small country estate, situated in Inkpen between Hungerford and Newbury.
The client are a Hong Kong based Hedge Fund couple, with a young family, who will use the property primarily during the school holidays. The estate is recently acquired, undergoing a massive refurbishment and there are aspirations to be organic and grow their own produce, a bit ‘River Cottage’ An interest in food and a progressive outlook towards the environment will be important considerations.
To report directly to the owner, take responsiblity on all day to day activities, to be hands on, duties will include the following :
-Property management, maintenance, repairs, liaison & supervision of contractors
- Support and day to day management of onsite staff, including recruitment
- To deal with administration, budgets, payment of invoices, overall running costs
- To take particular responsibility for the needs of family & guests, especially activities and
recreation when in residence
- To ensure the property & all facilities are in excellent repair and condition, maintained to the very highest standards
- Dealings with neighbours, local PR
- Security
- Health & safety, both staff and family
- Recreation
- All those duties normally associated with the role of Resident Estate/Property manager
- Liaising with design team & professional advisors, where necessary some driving and airport runs
Candidate Profile
An all rounder, enthusiastic and personable, experience of UHNW properties, ideally experience of different HNW recreation, an interest/background in organic farming, produce, hospitality, horticulture would be especially helpful. Entrepreneurial, able to respond and move quickly
Accommodation – newly refurbished 4 bed detached house
Remuneration – competitive, to be discussed.
