- Our private client based in Wandsworth; South London is looking for a permanent Live-in Nanny starting in August/September 2019.
Nanny required to care for two children, a boy born May 2010 and little girl born March 2013. The position is very much sole charge, so will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, and is comfortable taking the initiative.
The Family live in Wandsworth, near the common and close to Clapham Junction with quick access to Chelsea and the West End.
The family are looking for a professional, independent, pro-active and highly organized nanny to work with them on a long-term basis.
Working Hours & Days:
7:30AM to 7:00PM Monday to Friday
Duties include but are not limited to:
- The nanny will manage all aspects of the children’s day-to day lives; planning their schedules, choosing clubs with them, arranging playdates and parties, helping with homework, instilling in them a love of learning and reading, preparing nutritious meals, and keeping the children's playroom
- Keep their bathroom and bedrooms tidy.
- There is sporadic down-time during the school day in term-time – (the family are happy for the nanny to pursue their own sports, studies or leisure pursuits during these times)
- The family are looking for a nanny who will challenge and stimulate the children so they can learn, develop and enjoy themselves.
- The family holidays for 6-7 weeks a year (worldwide destinations) and so some holiday travel (c. 1-3 weeks a year) would be helpful.
Accommodation & Benefits:
Newly refurbished double bedroom with ensuite shower room and own front door, Sky TV with all movie and sports channels, and mobile phone subsidy of £100 pcm. The area for the nanny has a new self-contained kitchen. A driver is desirable, though not essential, for this position and a car will be available for childcare duties and occasionally for sole use.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 p/a gross, generous leave and benefits (access to car, holiday home and mobile phone subsidy) for the right candidate
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
