- Our client is looking for a groundskeeper handyman to assist with maintenance and repair of a large family home in a beautiful part of Tunbridge Wells. This can be a live in or a live out position depending on your requirements.
The job will entail a variety of roles for a proactive, enthusiastic, hard working individual.
It's essential the successful candidate is a competent handyman, preferably with formal training qualifications and work experience in the construction industry. The position is for someone more than capable of changing a tap, installing lights, hanging artwork, assembling furniture, painting & decorating, repointing walls and paving, repairing fences, etc.
There will be grounds to maintain the grounds (lawn mowing, clearing up leaves, cleaning stone, etc), and general upkeep in and around the property, as well as house sitting / security maybe required from time to time.
Part-time driving will also be necessary for airport runs, train station pick-ups, running errands, etc.
Flexibility of time and roles is imperative, and some weekend work will be essential.
Will also be required to assist with overseeing outside contractors when asked, therefore the successful candidate will definitely have to demonstrate good communication skills and it's also essential they are computer literate.
There may be a requirement to also help with dog walking at some point in the future.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
