Description
Start Date: August 2019 – 3 month booking with the potential to extend to 6 months
The family are also looking for a Maternity Nanny to work from September 2019 to then take over from the Maternity Nurse once she leaves.
 
Location: Chennai, India
Position: One baby, Mixture of shared care and sole charge
Hours: 24/6
Accommodation: The accommodation would comprise of a mixture of sleep in with the baby and good offsite accommodation.
Breast fed/bottle fed: A mixture of both
Approach to routine: A flexible approach where the Maternity nurse will be happy to work alongside the mother
Travel: All flights will be covered by the family. Domestic and International travel required. Transport and/or driver provided.
Salary: Senior professionals will be offered a package commensurate their experience.
Benefits provided: Excellent healthcare and benefits provided
Additional information:Visas and working permits would be arranged by the family
 
Our private client who are a well-known respected business family is looking for a fun, energetic, dynamic and creative Maternity nurse to care for their newborn due September 2019. This is the family’s first baby. The Maternity nurse will be expected to entertain the baby, establish routines for sleep and feeding in place and general structure, supervise and manage all baby laundry, food prep and cleaning of baby items.
 
This position is a mixture of shared care and sole charge. The working days hours preferred would be 24/6. Overnight and morning support, with 1 day off per week, or collated and given or leave encashment for unused leave as mutually agreed. The Mother will return to work after 2/3 months (and then the maternity nurse will need to attend the offices).
 
There is an option of offsite accommodation for non-vegetarians.

Religious sites include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, adorned with carved and painted gods, and St. Mary’s, a 17th-century Anglican church. Mahabalipuram is also close by, a hub for culture, sculpture and art and in addition, there are a variety of local beach resorts along the long coastline with its sandy beaches.
 
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
