Our private client is looking for a Nanny who is passionate about child development and care. This is a full-time, permanent live-in position to look after a boy who is 16 months old. There is a full-time housekeeper who also works for the family so an ability to be able to work with others is essential.
Languages a bonus: French speaking (English doesn’t have to be perfect as it can be learnt whilst with the family due to the mother being fluent in French) or Spanish (if nanny is Spanish, basic English is required to communicate with the family).
Accommodation offered: Bedroom with en-suite including sofa and tv.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 7pm – 7pm with occasional Saturday support and babysitting would be planned in advance alongside babysitting.
Travel: The family will travel to Europe and would like the Nanny to accompany them on these trips.
Duties: Full nursery duties including being able to be proactive on child’s development.
Nutrition: This is very important to the family - they do not give their son processed food so an experienced Nanny who can create fresh meals and help with recipe ideas would be ideal.
Summary: The family are very open to ideas and suggestions when it comes to the care of their son. They want to emphasise that whilst they would need their Nanny to be able to fit with their existing structure, they will always make sure there is space for the family to grow with the nanny too. If you can work alongside the mother, following her lead but also willing to share your own experiences when it comes to child development and care, then this is the job for you!
Salary: £500-£650 Net Per Week
