- Our HNW private client is looking to recruit a Rota Nanny to travel between London and LA.
The family are looking for an experienced, organised and fun Rota Nanny (mainly sole charge) to care for 3 children - Girl (September 2012), Boy (October 2014) and Girl (August 2018).
The Rota Nanny will be working alongside another Rota Nanny who has been with the family for nearly 4 years. The baby girl currently has a full-time maternity nurse, who will be with the family until March 2019.
The family have homes in both LA and London - the location of this position at any given time will depend on the parents' work commitments. The Rota Nanny will work a maximum of 26 weeks during the year and will be given a schedule of working patterns every 3 months. When the family are in London the working pattern will be 24/7 one week on/one week off and when in LA the working pattern will be 24/7 4 weeks on/4 weeks off.
The children are very happy and confident and enjoy doing activities which promote their varied interests. The eldest two children are home schooled by 2 teachers in a separate building in the grounds of the house.
The Rota Nanny needs to be highly organised with excellent communication skills as they will need to work closely with the family and other household staff in the day to day organisation of the children’s' schedules. This will include liaising with the teachers, organising after-school activities, organising and preparing meals and activities, as well as dealing with administrative tasks related to the children.
Ideally, a car driver is required; this would need to be someone who is confident driving in LA as well as in London.
The family will organise for a B1 visa for the nanny to work in the USA.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum
To start March/April 2019
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
