- Our private client is recruiting for a vibrant, educated Nanny, qualified professional, who would be looking after a delightful 1-year old toddler. She will be in charge of the care, wellbeing and education of this little girl. A university degree would be highly advantageous for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for all nursery duties, this includes cooking, cleaning and laundry for the little girl.The qualities we are looking for are the following:Education should be at the forefront of successful candidate's mind, stimulating the little girl through inventive activities and creative / imaginative play. Being energetic, engaging and patient are key attributes we are looking for. For the parents it's very important that the nanny understands how to play and entertain the little girl.Typical duties include:" Physical care of the child" Supporting and providing activities for the all-round development of the child" Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of their child" Providing well balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the child" Cleaning and tidying the ccommodation provided for the nanny" Cleaning, laundering and mending the child's clothes and toys" Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining household equipment relating to the care of the child" Ability to use all equipment related to the care of the child e.g. buggies and car seats" Taking the child to playgroup / nursery / school" Taking the child on outings appropriate to their age and stage of development" Preparing for special occasions such as birthday parties" Caring for the child when they are sick and administering medicine(s)" Discussion with parents relating to time on and off duty, nursery expenses, transport, babysitting" Planning and organising extra-curricular activities for the child
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
