- Our private client is looking to recruit a live-out House Manager for a position based in Virgina Water.
Working five days per week (10:00 to 18:00), alternate weekends in rotation with Houseman to provide cover (when family in residence). Flexibility required in working hours.Job Description;" Manage all technical aspects of the property (HVAC, AV, lighting, pool/spa, alarms, etc.), first contact for family regarding faults, testing & monitoring of all systems at regular intervals to ensure correct functioning and upkeep." Diagnose and repair any problem that can be dealt with in house (should have some handyman ability)." Responsible for overseeing cleaning and upkeep at the property, conducting checks and initiating deep cleaning when family not in residence/as required. Managing the house keepers and house man to ensure the highest standards." Manage house stores and replacements, purchasing as required. Cleaning materials, lamps/batteries etc., spare parts and replacement equipment." Purchasing of items requested by the family." Producing monthly account of spend for PA/Manager" Managing inventory and checks of house and external storage unit" Work with the chefs to ensure stock rotation and use by dates are met along with the cleanliness of the main kitchen. Assist in the procurement of specialist foods" Manage the tertiary fridges (bar/pool/pavilions) around the property to ensure they have the appropriate drinks in." Greet family guests to the property and assist in F&B service in lieu of travelling butler for events and when male principle is in residence" Work with the drivers to ensure the vehicles are always clean and ready. Drive in their absence/in addition to as required." Manage the security team. Liaise with them regarding planned deliveries and contractors. Review the protocols and ensure they are met. Make changes and improvements where needed." Travel to family properties in St Moritz and Monaco to act as driver/manager on holidays. In rotation with PA/Manager and drivers" Out of hours emergency contact regarding property issues" Trained to operate cryosauna and other specialist equipment
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
