Live-out Temporary Chef in Lugano

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and adaptable Chef to join a private household in Lugano. The role involves managing the daily culinary needs for a family of four (including two young children), as well as providing meals for staff members. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who values a consistent schedule and enjoys the variety of cooking for both a family and household team.

Schedule: The position is temporary (minimum 6 months), live-out, full-time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, cooking lunch and dinner

Culinary Focus:

• Italian Cuisine: Strong proficiency and passion for traditional and contemporary Italian cooking is essential.
• Flexibility: Ability and willingness to cook a variety of other international cuisines upon request (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, or classic European).
• Dietary Needs: Experience preparing nutritious and appealing meals for children.
• Staff Meals: Efficient planning to prepare meals for household staff in addition to the family service.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in private households or high-end hospitality.
• Highly organized, clean, and respectful of household privacy.
• Excellent time management skills to deliver two services efficiently.
• Ability to adapt menus to the family’s preferences and seasonal availability.
• Valid work permit for Switzerland (or EU citizenship preferred).

Start Date: 15 September 2026

Salary: Negotiable, starting from 6,000 CHF net per month (commensurate with experience).

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
