Description
On behalf of one of our VIP clients, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Maternity Nurse to provide exceptional newborn care following the expected arrival of a baby in May–June. This will be a temporary role, anticipated to last up to 6 months, although the exact duration remains flexible and will be confirmed closer to the start date.
This role requires a calm, confident, and highly knowledgeable professional who can provide round-the-clock support during the newborn phase. The Maternity Nurse will work closely with the parents and under the overall supervision of the family’s Nanny. The household is fully supported by a dedicated team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and professional working environment.
Working hours/schedule:
  • 24 hours per day, 6 days per week 
Accommodation:
  • Shared bedroom with the baby during duty hours
  • Access to an independent private unit within the premises for rest and personal time
Duties include:
  • Full physical care of the newborn, day and night
  • Night care including bottle feeding
  • Supporting feeding routines, sleep patterns, and early development
  • Monitoring the baby’s wellbeing and health
  • Administering medication and accompanying the baby to medical appointments when required and authorised by parents
  • Communicating clearly with parents regarding all aspects of newborn care
  • Preparing for and travelling with the family as required
  • Managing, cleaning, and maintaining all baby-related equipment (sterilisers, bottles, buggies, car seats, etc.)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the accommodation provided
Candidate Profile:
  • Extensive proven experience as a Maternity Nurse
  • Fully certified with recognised newborn/postnatal qualifications
  • Excellent professional attitude, behaviour, and discretion
  • Flexible and willing to travel with the family
Start Date: May 2026
Salary: £300 - 500 per 24 hours

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
