Live-out Household Assistant in Berlin

Our friendly professional client is currently seeking an experienced Household Assistant to work for his family in their downtown Berlin apartment.

The family have 2 young children who attend preschool, and you will work alongside other part-time staff.

You must have very good English language skills and must be an EU passport holder.

A candidate already based in Berlin is ideal, but the family are open to providing nearby accommodation for the right candidate if required.

 Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Full housekeeping, laundry and cleaning duties to a high standard
• Ensuring the smooth running of the household and servicing of principals and guests
• Household shopping and running errands
• Cooking family friendly meals, including healthy meal preparation and food hygiene awareness
• Wardrobe management and overall household organization
• Providing general PA support, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks
• Supervision of children when required
• Assisting with occasional school runs
• Travelling with the family for most of the winter months in Europe and further

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Child friendly
• Good cooking skills
• German language skills would be good to have but not mandatory since the family all speak good English
• A driver would be ideal but not a must
• Flexibility to travel abroad over the winter months

Working days & hours: Ideally, 4 days in the week and 1 day in the weekend but 5 weekdays may be possible; approximately 12-8pm daily (negotiable)

Start date: ASAP

Salary: €4,500 - €6000 gross per month live out DOE

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
