Live-out Housekeeper in Gstaad

On behalf of our private returning couple, we are looking for a Housekeeper for their lovely property in Gstaad (canton Bern).

The ideal Housekeeper will be discreet, experienced, hardworking, multitasking, self-starter with a driven personality. Must have previous experience working in the HNW/UHNW private household sector and be looking for the next step in career development. Fluency in English is required, (plus Swiss German and/or Italian speaking would be a plus). Applicants must be currently be based in Gstaad or live within a comfortable commuting distance. 

Working days & hours: 45 hours per week across Monday – Friday (must be flexible on working times and be able to work occasional evening and weekends on request). While this is not a 24/7 position, ad hoc flexibility beyond normal working hours is part of the role and will be expected.

Duties will include:

• Daily cleaning of the main home/chalet and weekly cleaning of two other chalets under the supervision of Head Housekeeper
• Responsible for taking out the trash in all chalets
• Experience in laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing fine linens and clothing
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in all living areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, and common spaces
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
• Vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop hard floors to ensure cleanliness
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces 
• Change bed linens and make beds daily or as requested by family members or guests

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
