We are looking for a professional and dedicated Private Chef for our client’s based in Switzerland.
The Chef should be specializing in allergy management and provide personalized, high-quality culinary services. And be responsible for maintaining the household’s culinary standards and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of the residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and prepare customized menus that cater to specific dietary needs and allergies of the residents and guests.
- Ensure all meals are safe, nutritious, and flavourful, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions and preferences.
Allergy Management:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various food allergies and intolerances.
- Implement strict food safety practices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the safety of all meals prepared.
Grocery Shopping and Inventory Management:
- Source and purchase high-quality ingredients while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Maintain an organized inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Meal Presentation and Service:
- Ensure that meals are presented attractively and served in a timely manner.
- Cater to both everyday meals and special occasions, providing an exceptional dining experience.
Kitchen Maintenance and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Follow proper hygiene and sanitation protocols in all food preparation and storage areas.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Formal education in culinary arts or equivalent experience as a Cook or Chef.
- Previous experience as a Private Chef or similar role in a private household setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with experience managing dietary restrictions and allergies.
- In-depth knowledge of food allergies, dietary restrictions, and nutrition.
- Excellent culinary skills, with proficiency in various cooking techniques and the ability to create diverse and nutritious menus.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to efficiently plan and coordinate meal preparation and kitchen operations.
- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for privacy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility in working hours and days, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and accommodate special requests from household members and open to travel with the family when required.
- Child friendly and open to travel with family as and when required.
Salary: negotiable, from 80K CHF
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
