- On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a Houseman/Butler in Cheserex, Vaud, Switzerland
The ideal candidate will be discreet, honest, organised, dynamic, responsive, efficient, and great sense of customer service. Being a team-player is essential for this role.
The role involves working with the team that’s is not living on site.
Duties:
- In charge of the general monitoring of two properties (Vaud and Valais)
- Administrative assistance for family members
- Safety monitoring and coordination of schedules
- Welcoming the guests as well as postman, delivery people etc as well as reception and distribution of mail and deliveries.
- Preparing the table for breakfasts and meals as well as putting the house in order and table preparation for lunches and dinners during the week.
- Security monitoring: alarms (including nights) and daily planning coordination.
- Taking care of the cars and bikes: fuel, cleaning, drinks, follow-up of maintenance and maintenance of the garage.
- Checking, cleaning, and tidying up outdoor furniture and outdoor premises (swimming pool, storage, etc.), cleaning ad preparing chimney (in winter).
- Various shuttles (family and guests).
- Animal care, cleaning of the premises and monitoring of dogs/cats.
- Monitoring of flowers and drinks: delivery, storage, assortment of fridges.
- Assistance in monitoring external stakeholders.
- Punctual assistance/replacements in the event of the absence of team members.
Requirements:
- A clean driving license.
- Ability to speak and write French and English
- Animal-friendly
- Proficiency in Outlook-Excel-Word software.
Start date:As soon as possible
Schedule: 45 hours per week (including Saturday morning)
Salary: 8000 CHF gross x 13 months
Benefits: 25 days off per year
Accommodation: A separate home (3 bedrooms) on the property
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
