- Our UHNW private family in West London are looking for an experienced live-in
Head Housekeeper. This is a large formal fully staffed family home.
As the head housekeeper, you will work and oversee one other full-time Housekeeper and a part-time Housekeeper.
Your duties will include:
• Maintaining/overseeing the cleanliness of the house - shared daily cleaning/ scheduling and communicating well to cover all areas of the house.
• Laundry and ironing – sending out dry cleaning
• Packing for trips and wardrobe management
• Polishing silver and brass
• Flower arranging
• Packing the children’s school uniforms / for vacations
• Service at meal times
• Cooking for the children (when they are home and on the rare occasions for the principals).
• Restocking household goods, running errands, creating inventories, grocery shopping and online ordering
• Happy to travel to France (St Tropez) for 4-6 weeks in the summer. Potentially travel to other parts of the World.
• Greeting and meeting guests, taking coats, making them tea/coffee, offering wine, snack etc.…
You will possess;
• Eye for detail
• Able to use your own initiative
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Flexible and be able to work really well in a team.
Accommodation:
Own bedroom, with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette on the basement level of the family home.
Working Day(s)/Hour(s): (5) day(s) a week when family not in residence, days off during the week. Flexible hours depending on family’s schedule.
When the family are in residence all hands-on deck up to (7) days a week.
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
