- Description
- One of our private clients currently based in Barbados are looking for a Temporary Rota Nanny to care for 3 children born in Feb 2015, March 2017 & a Baby Girl born in October 2020.
The family are at their home in Barbados (exact timescales will depend on the UK lockdown situation).
The Nanny must be experienced, have excellent communication skills, be a team player, pet friendly (2 Dogs), professional, a competent swimmer, engaging with a mature approach, understand the needs of older children and have had experience of working with both nursery and school age children.
This is a very relaxed, respectful family who want the boys to have fun with the people caring for them whilst ensuring that they are getting the very best possible care.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Support the eldest boy with home schooling (started full time school in September) and coordinate / deliver creative and stimulating activities for both boys. Both boys are active, energetic and very bright children - they need to be stimulated and both have a love for learning!
- Covering the Maternity Nurse’s day off, therefore a Rota Nanny with baby experience would be advantageous.
- Working alongside the rest of the nanny team on a rota basis
Rota Layout (The rota is subject to change)
Currently each Rota Nanny is working 4 days with 2 days off.
There would be the opportunity for 3-4 days blocks of time off should the family remain in Barbados after March 2021.
There are 2 Nannies on duty at all times to allow for 1:1 time with the children.
Accommodation:
When working the nanny will have their own bedroom and bathroom, when off duty the nanny will stay in a five-star hotel on the Island.
Travel Details:
All flights will be World Traveller plus or above and family will organise and fund all required COVID tests. On arrival in Barbados there will be a 5-7-day quarantine period in a hotel where you will be provided with all meals etc and will be required to test for COVID at regular intervals.
Start date– ASAP
End date tbc depending on the UK lockdown situation with the potential of extending as a permanent position for the right person depending on circumstances
Salary:£250 - £300 gross per 24-hour period (Depending on experience)
All days while in Barbados (including rest days) will be treated as ‘working days’ and paid as such.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
