- Our UHNW private family of 7 have a exciting new role and are seeking a professional and highly experienced Head Housekeeper for their large home in Holland Park.
The successful candidate will be discreet, loyal with a can do attitude. You will have at least 10 years experience managing a large private household. You must have managed a team of staff to ensure the highest possible standard with exceptional attention to detail. Experience within a luxury 5 star hotel in a similar position will also be considered.
You will be very child friendly, extremely organised, have common sense and the ability to use your own initiative.
As Head Housekeeper, you will report to the principle when the family are in London and to their PA. You will manage a small team of housekeepers whilst also providing a very hands on role. Therefore, you will involve yourself in all aspects of daily housekeeping. The principle will need their home maintained to an immaculate standard and needs to trust that their home runs smoothly at all times. You must also be trustworthy and continue this level of care when the family are not in residence.
You must be fully flexible, happy to multi task and self motivated to work alone and as a team.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Deep clean prior to the families arrival
- Full housekeeping duties and managing a team of staff
- Providing a front of house service
- Packing and unpacking luggage
- Full laundry services
- Food shopping
- Keeping refrigerators clean and discarding out-of-date items
- Cleaning windows inside
- Assisting the PA with running of the household
- Carrying out any other tasks that the employer may reasonably ask
- Strictly non smoker
Private en-suite bedroom provided within the staff quarters of the property.
Salary approx £40k DOE
Full time - to be fully flexible when principle is in residence
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 10 years or more relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
