- Description
- Our private client based in the Cotswolds is looking for their forever Nanny, to take care of their 2 little toddlers (boy 3, and girl who is 1.5).
The family are looking for someone who can be creative, imaginative, warm, kind, organised, confident, flexible, firm but fair and a countryside lover.
Both Mum and Dad are currently working from home full time (due to Covid) though normally Dad travels to London for work regularly.
Location - 10 minutes to Charlbury where there is a direct train to London in just over an hour and Oxford in an hour and 15 minutes.
The family have a beautiful home with a swimming pool and tennis court (so in the summer swimming with the little ones is great fun!) They have beautiful walks nearby and there are lots and lots of lovely baby classes on locally.
Requirements
- Native English speaker – in order to teach both children phonics etc…
- First Aid and DBS essential
- Countryside Lover - they live in the middle of the countryside so you must love countryside walks, jumping in muddy puddles and being outside!
- Confident and safe driver (A nanny car will be provided if needs be).
- Confident cook who is happy to make nutritious and healthy meals, plus batch cook.
Nanny duties
- Doing Nursery Runs for toddler 3 days a week (school runs begin in September 2021)
- Arranging playdates/Classes
- Laundry
- Encouraging drawing/writing/numbers etc
- Proxy parenting (parents work away a lot so you must be willing to do overnights with the children)
- Accompanying family on holidays (they have a Chalet in Verbier) and visit Ibiza regularly
- Keep nursery tidy
Working Hours
7:00AM – 7:00PM
Accommodation
Own double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom on your own.
Salary layout
5 days a week - £31 - 36k gross (dependent on experience)
5 days/4 days alternate weeks - (60hours one week, 48 hours the following week etc) £31-36 k gross dependent on experience
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
