Our private client is looking for a flexible couple/team of (2) who are passionate about dogs and looking for a lovely new role.
Our private client resides on a 25 Acre property in central Kent and is need of a live-in couple/team of (2) to manage and maintain seven rescued (Spanish mountain) dogs that have their own bespoke open-plan house in the grounds complete with two/three-bedroom human accommodation
You will be managers responsible/first point of contact point for the following:
- All external dog related services
- Animal related health and safety
- Prepare food and feed all dogs as required
- Administering all medication
- Exercising dogs (minimum twice daily)
- Grooming, Cleaning & dental hygiene
- Maintaining clean bedding/housing, ensuring a hygienic environment (deep clean every quarter)
- Caring for elderly/sick animals
- Vet and Complimentary treatment/appointments etc
- General daily health assessments, reporting/dealing with issues as necessary
- Answering all calls/emails to Dog House, greeting and assisting visitors, all required admin/record keeping
- Occasional assistance with the 4-5 additional ‘main-house’ dogs
- Procurement/Stock Management
- Night cover of animals
- Any other duties as required
- Animal welfare experience/qualifications preferred
Driving licence required

Accommodation:
Large 2/3-bedroom Bungalow (This is to be shared with the dogs).
Working Hours:48 hours per week

Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Note: personal pets are not allowed for this role
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
