- Our private client is looking for a French speaking Nursery Nurse to work at a prestigious school in Marylebone.
Main Responsibilities:
- To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Nursery.
- To give support to and collaborate with other staff within the Nursery
Main Duties:
- Age group of children; 15 months, 3 - 5-year olds
- To contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area, in conjunction with other staff.
- Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
- To be flexible within working practices of Nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
- Work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind the project is fulfilled
- Look upon the Nursery as a "whole", where can your help will be most utilised, be constantly aware of the needs of children.
- Preparation and completion of activities to suite the child's stage of development.
- To ensure mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
- Washing and changing children as required.
- To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at different stages of development.
Qualifications such as the following are desirable:
- NVQ Level 2/3
- CACHE Diploma
- BA Childcare
- HND Childcare
- B Tec Nursery Nursing
- NNEB
- PLA Diploma in pre-school practice
Good Conversation Level in English required
Working Days & Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Salary:£22,000.00 per annum
To start as soon as possible
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
